ISTAS-CCOO is participating in the European project DIMASOLAB (Directive 2014/95 - Impact Assessment on Labor Relations) funded by the European Commission on the Non-Financial Information Directive and its impact on labor relations.
Trade union organizations from Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Lithuania are also taking part in the project, as well as the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI).
Directive 2014/95 / EU requires public interest entities of more than 500 workers to draw up a report or statement explaining policies, results and risks related to the environment, social and labor issues and human rights.
The project will focus on two key research issues.
The first research concerns the sustainability reports produced so far:
- How do these voluntary reports affect EU labor relations
- How do workers' representatives affect the presentation and contents of sustainability reports
The second issue concerns the implementation process of Directive 2014/95 / EU:
- How trade unions and social organizations influence the implementation of the Directive in their national laws
- In which countries the transposition of the Directive has gone beyond the requirements of the directive
- How the models of labor relations and worker participation correlate with the implementation of the directive
Experts discuss transposition of EU-Directive at DimasoLab meeting in Madrid
